Study shows that mothers strive to educate their children by sharing genetic testing results
In a parent communication study involving 221 mothers with children between the ages of 8 and 21, researchers from Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, Mount Sinai cancer center, and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute determined that 62.4% of the study participants informed their children of their genetic testing results.
The study is published online in the journal Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention.
