Nasal cavity and paranasal sinus cancers are diagnosed more frequently in men than women.1 The majority of individuals diagnosed with these malignancies are aged >55 years, and have been exposed to certain substances in the workplace, such as wood dust, flour, or mustard gas.1,2 Overall, the 5-year survival rate for patients diagnosed with nasal cavity and paranasal sinus cancers is approximately 80%.1 Public awareness of these diseases needs to remain a priority to improve survival rates and quality of life.
