UC Irvine researchers isolate markers for the detection of prostate cancer in urine
In an effort to make prostate cancer screening easier and more cost-efficient, UC Irvine researchers have not only isolated markers for the detection of prostate cancer in urine, but they have combined chemicals with electronic sensors to create an extremely low-cost urine prostate cancer screening process.
The research is published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society.
