Identification technique involves single nucleotide polymorphisms
In an effort to improve upon aggressive prostate cancer tumor identification, researchers at Moffitt Cancer Center and colleagues at Louisiana State University studied single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) interactions and uncovered genetic changes among the SNP-SNP interactions that relate to aggressive prostate cancers.
The study results are published in the online journal PLOS ONE.
