Study reveals decreased bone metastasis pain when nerve endings are targeted
New research by Fox Chase Cancer Center scientists shows that when MR-guided focused ultrasound is directed at nerve endings related to bone metastasis pain, patient discomfort is reduced, with manageable side effects.
The research was presented at the 49th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
